Hence, the American Heart Association recommends no more than 1,500 mg sodium per day - for everyone except healthy, young, white males. That&#039;s 500 mg sodium per meal. My personal guide? If the food has more mg of sodium per serving than calories per serving, it&#039;s too much sodium - walk away...restaurants and fast food are over the top with sodium gluttony. If it comes in a box or a can - stay away! Keep up the good work Bro Brubru - we don&#039;t have to sacrifice our lives for flavour!</description>
